I was born and grew up in the Netherlands. When I was eleven years old, my parents decided to move to the beautfiful island of Aruba... lucky me! During the first few years I was totally into Paso Fino horseback riding. I even went to the world championships in Colombia and returned with a silver medal. Not much later got to know kiteboarding and was immediately hooked. After four years of practicing the sport I finished high school and immediately started my career as a professional kiteboarder. At the moment I am living a dream. I travel all over the world competing in the PKRA and visiting as many events as possible.
